The 170 degrees of unobstructed ocean views offer unbelievable sunsets. Humpback whales are also easily viewable during the winter season directly from the property.
A large pad and road have been graded to protect the natural pahoehoe and a’a lava formations, ohia trees, and other natural features of the property. Holes excavated for future gardening are completed. Elevated pad is located in the middle of property for privacy and centered in a lowered wrap-around driveway.
A 40’L, 40’W, 20’H, brand new, strong 18 gauge galvalume coated DuroSpan Q-Series steel Quonset hut comes with the property and ready to assemble. This building exceeds State requirements if you want to permit it. Comes with both end walls and a frame for a garage door up to 16’ long x 10’ high. The steel building can be designed with as many doors and windows desired. Two turbine vents are included for the roof. Would take about a week to put up. Concrete footers and foundation bolts for this building are already poured and in place. Tall enough to add a spacious second floor.
Public well is located up the road in the town of Ocean View. Quonset hut could also be used to collect rainwater.
An array of remote, secluded black and green sand beaches, tide pools and fishing spots are located minutes from the property. A few beaches are surfable during the right times. The snorkeling is some of the best in the islands.
Hawaii’s largest State park, Manuka, is located on the property’s west side. Directly in front and west of the property lie both the Hawaii County Kahuku Coastal Conservation lands, Volcano National Park and Pohue bay. Lava caves, ancient Hawaiian hieroglyphs and protected burial grounds located throughout these parks minutes from the property. The city of Kona is about an hour away.
