In the small town of Ocean View nearby there are several shopping areas with markets, gas stations, a post office and restaurants. Both sides of the highway have grocery stores and the Ranchos side hosts a Saturday farmers market and flea market. Just over an hour north of the highway entrance is Kailua-Kona where you'll find major shopping and other services along with an international airport.
